Porcelain coffee cups, 1940's

Small, dainty and ever so delicate, these (3) porcelain espresso cups recall a time when, following the family’s Sunday “cena,” (“dinner”) guests adjourned to the living room where they were served an espresso and a sweet. These cups, used by a Calabrian family in the 1940’s recall gatherings of friends and family in an era gone by.
